First ever ‘Climate Oath’ in Bangladesh held at Cox’s Bazar sea beach

Several hundred climate warriors in country including reps of local administration, tribal community, fishers, working women, students recently gathered at DaryanagarSea Beach to take the first ever ‘Climate Oath’ in country to save our planet from the menace of climate disaster.

The three-day conference organized by Genlab under the initiative of South Climate Conclave – Bangladesh Chapter came to a close.

The climate warriors included Sharlina Hussain Morgan, Culture and Public Relations Officer of the US Embassy, Sheikh Rokan, founder of Riverine People, cartoonist MorshedMishu, and Harvard economist Amrin Bashir, Creative Conservative Alliance Founder Shahriar Caesar Rahman and top media representatives of the country.
